Little 500 Network is a casual sports news outlet focusing on Indiana University's annual collegiate bike race, the Little 500. The network provides seasoned and new fans of the race with updates, behind-the-scenes content, team insights, and more.
I worked with graphic designers Sophia Johnson and Mau Brito to craft Little 500 Network's identity. We wanted to lean into the tradition of the race by embracing the vintage feel by incorporating rustic textures and retro fonts. We wanted our logo to balance the modern with the classic, we opted for an energetic handwritten font with colors from the IU Student Foundation logo (the organization that has put on the event since 1951).
With my team, we developed a full brand suite including logos, icons, colors, typefaces, and assets. Check out the branding in action here!
